FareHarbor is the biggest name in tour and activity booking, with 20,000+ companies on it and Booking.com's parent company behind it. Rentals on FareHarbor usually mean ATVs, kayaks, and dirt bikes by the hour, and there is no monthly software fee. Easy Vibe Outdoors is built by a camper owner for campers and small towable trailers, at a flat $19 to $59 a month.
This page sticks to facts you can check yourself. FareHarbor doesn't publish pricing on their site, so the claims here come from their own public help center, checked on the date above. If something's changed or reads unfair, tell me and I'll fix it.

The fee deserves a plain-English explanation, because you won't find it at checkout. FareHarbor's policy for businesses under $35,000 a year in online direct bookings is, in their own words, to update "the total price of your activities to include the booking fee automatically." Your guest never sees a fee line. Your prices are simply 6% higher than you set them, on every direct booking, including the ones you take by phone, and FareHarbor keeps the difference. On a $1,000 booking that's $60 hiding inside your sticker price.
Here's the math, with the caveats stated. FareHarbor doesn't publish card processing rates, so this compares only their 6% against our flat price and treats processing as a wash on both sides. Once your direct bookings pass about $3,800 a year, the 6% costs more than a whole year of us with one camper. An owner sitting just under their $35,000 line pays about $2,100 a year, folded into prices, versus $228 flat here.
To be fair both ways: your first 12 months on FareHarbor carry no booking fee at all, and if you grow past $35,000 a year online, the fee goes away entirely. The people it never goes away for are the ones who stay small. A one or two camper business is under $35,000 in online bookings more or less permanently, which makes the 6% a fee on being exactly the kind of owner this page is written for.
The deposit gap matters more than the fee for campers specifically. When you hand a stranger a trailer worth five figures for a long weekend, you want a refundable hold on their card, placed before pickup and released after a clean return. FareHarbor's own advice for high-value rentals is to collect the balance with a card reader when the customer arrives and have them sign a waiver. That works fine for a two-hour kayak. It is not how you protect a camper.

Where FareHarbor is the better pick
An honest list, because you'd figure it out anyway:
- You run tours or activities. Timeslots, manifests, staff scheduling, point of sale, QR check-in, and 24/7 phone support. That's their home turf, they're excellent at it, and it's a different league of company than one owner building camper software.
- You want renters brought to you. Their affiliate network and OTA connections can fill your calendar. We bring you zero renters. You bring your own.
- You're brand new and testing the waters. Your first year has no booking fee and no monthly cost. If you're not sure this business is for you, that's a genuinely free way to find out.
