Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you book a camper, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and rental dates — visible only to the specific owner you're renting from, never to other owners on the platform. When you sign the rental agreement, we record the name you typed, the time, and your IP address as part of the signature. Before pickup, you upload a photo of your driver's license. Camper owners provide their business name, email, and phone number when they sign up to list on the platform.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. Rental payments go to the camper owner's own connected Stripe account, which places the security-deposit hold and issues refunds for that booking; owners separately pay Easy Vibe Outdoors a monthly subscription, billed to their own card on file. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's privacy policy.

Your driver's license photo

License photos are stored in private cloud storage, viewable only by the camper's owner through expiring links, and are permanently deleted 30 days after your rental ends. Signed rental agreements are kept as contracts and are not deleted.

Email

We send transactional email only — booking confirmations, pre-trip reminders, cancellation notices, and account emails like password resets. No marketing lists, no newsletters unless you explicitly ask for them someday.

Cookies

We set two cookies: a sign-in session (for an owner's admin area) and a security token that protects forms from forgery.

Separately from cookies, our servers count how many people visit each day using a one-way code derived from your connection that changes every day. It sets nothing on your device, stores nothing about you, and cannot recognize you from one day to the next — it only lets us count a day's visitors once each. On storefronts, the same counter also tallies how many of a day's visitors reach each step of booking (viewing a camper, checking dates, checkout), so owners can see where renters drop off — still as daily totals, never as anything about you individually.

Sharing

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the services that run the platform: Stripe (payments — rental payments through each owner's own connected account, subscription billing through ours), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (file storage and DNS) — each only receives what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@easyvibeoutdoors.com. We'll honor deletion requests except for records we need to keep, like signed agreements and payment records.
