SyncaRent vs. Easy Vibe Outdoors
For camper and small-trailer owners deciding what should run their rental business.
SyncaRent and Easy Vibe Outdoors are both aimed at camper and RV rental owners, including the small ones. Neither of us has a minimum fleet size, which already separates us both from most of this category. The real difference is what you're buying. SyncaRent builds the website for you and runs a whole operations suite on top of it. This is self-serve software at a flat price, and you set it up yourself in an afternoon.
This page sticks to facts you can check yourself. Every SyncaRent claim on it comes from their own public site, checked on the date above. If something's changed or reads unfair, tell me and I'll fix it.
Pricing, side by side
| Easy Vibe Outdoors | SyncaRent | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $19 for your first camper, +$6 each additional, capped at $59 | Two models. Either 3% per transaction plus $25/mo, or $125/mo flat. Both are their entry tier, for under $100,000 processed a year |
| Commission on bookings | None, on any plan | 3% per transaction on the percentage model, dropping to 2% over $100,000 a year and 1% over $250,000. Their FAQ says you choose whether you or your guest pays it |
| E-signatures | Included | $25/mo add-on, for unlimited documents and signatures |
| Text and email reminders | Email included | $25/mo add-on |
| Fleet size | Starts at one camper | "Unlimited Campers (no minimum campers)" |
| Free trial | 30 days, no card required | Offered, length not published |
Here's the math on one booking. A $2,000 stay on their percentage plan costs $60 in transaction fees, on top of the $25 a month. The same booking here costs nothing extra, because the monthly price is the whole price.
Now add the two things most camper owners actually need. A signed rental agreement and reminders before pickup are both $25 a month each over there, so a two-camper owner who wants them is at $175 a month on the flat plan. Here that owner pays $25 a month, and e-signatures are part of it. That gap is the honest headline of this page, and it holds at every fleet size under eight campers.
One fair point in their favor on price: their FAQ says the 3% can be passed to your guest instead of paid by you. If you're comfortable adding 3% to what your renter sees at checkout, your own cost drops to $25 a month plus whatever add-ons you take. That's a real option and worth knowing about. It's the same trade Recreogo asks for, and the same question applies: it's still your guest paying it, on a booking they were going to make anyway.
One thing worth reading closely before you sign up. Their page says that to qualify for pricing in a higher processing tier, new members must provide income documentation from the past two years. The higher tiers are the cheaper percentages, so that's a paperwork step between you and the better rate.
What one price includes here
No tiers and no add-on plans. A $19 owner gets the same product as a $59 owner:
- Your own booking storefront, live in an afternoon
- Embeddable booking widget for a website you already have
- Your own rental agreement, e-signed at checkout, plus license upload
- Per-clause acknowledgment on the terms you can't have renters skimming
- Security-deposit card holds, placed and released automatically
- Delivery pricing by distance, quoted live at checkout
- Turnaround buffer days between bookings
- Seasonal and weekend rates
- Length-of-stay discount tiers
- Discount codes
- Checkout add-ons: firewood, camp chairs, whatever you offer
- Pickup and return inspections with photos
- Per-booking guest messaging
- Owner-moderated guest reviews
- Two-way iCal calendar sync that works with Outdoorsy, RVshare, and Google Calendar
- CSV import and one-click full export
- Staff accounts, maintenance log, and a revenue dashboard with real Stripe fees
Where SyncaRent is the better pick
An honest list, and it's a longer one than usual, because they do things this platform doesn't:
- You want someone else to build the site. They create the website for you and host it. Here you sign up and set up your own storefront, which takes an afternoon but it is your afternoon. If you'd rather hand that off, that's a real reason to pay more.
- You rent other people's campers. They ship a consignment portal. If you manage units you don't own, that's a whole workflow this platform doesn't have.
- You have staff doing delivery or cleaning. Their driver and cleaner portals are built for exactly that. Our staff accounts are simpler.
- You want a phone app with your name on it. They'll set up and host an iOS and Android app for $25 a month. We don't do apps at all. Your storefront is a website that works on a phone.
- You do enough volume that a percentage beats a flat fee. Their 1% tier over $250,000 a year is a different kind of business than most people reading this run, but if that's you, do the math both ways.
If that list describes your operation, SyncaRent is built for more of it than this is. If you rent one camper or a few, and mostly need a booking page, a calendar, deposits, and a signed agreement, you're paying a lot for portals you'll never open.
Switching without losing a booking
- Import your campers and existing bookings from a CSV export.
- Two-way iCal calendar sync prevents double-bookings while you run both systems side by side.
- Export everything (campers, bookings, guest contacts) any time you want. Leaving is a button here, not a support ticket.
- And I'll help personally. Email hello@easyvibeoutdoors.com and I'll walk your listings and calendar over with you.
